House of Harmony was a unique artistic experience exploring the notion of existence as resistance. Through a 3-act live show, we combined film screenings, fashion runways, dance performances, and live music to tell stories of empowerment and identity.

House of Harmony was the combined labor of over 90+ creatives including fashion designers, dancers, filmmakers, musicians, fine artists, designers, and more.
At the University of Southern California's Trojan Grand Ballroom, a sold-out audience of 350+ gathered to witness the work which included 2 distinct runway segments, the screening of 3 films, a 10-minute dance performance, and live music from both a DJ and a quartet.
As Creative Director for the show, I conceptualized the vision for the performance structure and oversaw the creative production for all the art featured.

All the work was grounded in a simple yet empowering ethos that fueled our creatives. Together with my co-Creative Director, we shared this director's statement to situate the show:
In our experiences living with marginalized identities, we have undergone the phases of discovery, resistance, and rebirth. We have found these moments manifest themselves in different ways and at different times, but are consistent across our experiences exploring and embracing our identities.
With House of Harmony, the phases we will cover are a part of the experiences and realities of individuals across the globe. For many of us, beyond a deeper understanding of who we are, these phases have awakened the realization that our existence is a form of resistance. Against systems, norms, and groups who experience the world differently than we do, we resist through our art and our ability to create and inspire.
We recognize and acknowledge that people of all backgrounds might experience these differently, and we extend an invitation to interact with them in a personal, connected way. We have chosen a team of black, latin, and queer creatives to bring their own perspectives and experiences in connection to these concepts. Our goal is to express these phases from the unique lenses of our lived experiences, with the hopes that people who identify differently will still find resonance and inspiration in them.

As Creative Director, I also led the art direction for our marketing efforts including establishing a visual identity and overseeing the execution of a out-of-home marketing experience which we produced, shot, and edited to create a highly-effective teaser video for the show.
